PLANNED PARENTHOOD KEEPS DOUBLE-DIPPING AT TAX DOLLAR TROUGH

If I were Lens Crafters, I'd be hiring my most reliably nasty courtroom canines. Planned Parenthood Foundation used the lens manufacturer's name (see below) to package itself according a Minnesota Congresswoman. She's in fighting form, for good reasons. A lot of those reasons are being paid for by you and me.
They're called tax dollars. Okay, we know about the goodies PPF has gotten in grants from a very pliant and out of touch branch of the Federal Government. But PPF also gets something else: A free ride on paying taxes in addition to those tax-free grants it got from Congress.
Nothing like a win-win deal no matter what business you're in.
Wow, I was so impressed with my junior Senator John F. Kerry's clarion calls to round up all those off-shore banking Benedict Arnolds dumping their money in banks on the Cayman Islands, etc. He had a point. But while he was howling up that tree, Jowly John didn't give a yip about PPF's double-dipping scheme. Well, let's go where I got this tidbit of Sunday News:
Really Long Link
Oh, yes, that "Lens Crafters' reference. This is a beaut!
That's one of the "sacred cow big businesses" you won't see Granny Nanny siccing her nasty canines on for sure. Abortion's always been a big business and a big contributor to the one-time "party of the little guy." Apparently they draw the line as to what constitutes the "little guy" from a helpless infant. Well, not "apparently," they just do, and do they ever do it in grand style when it comes to fleecing every tax payer in the country.
Think of all the money that goes into PPF's coffers when the Democrats or any pro-abortion Republican also starts complaining about the lack of funding for necesssary college funding programs for truly needy college-bound students. Think of the gas vouchers it could give independent truckers who can't afford to truck food to various food banks across the country to make sure they're stocked for local churches and survival centers to buy necessary food stuffs, etc. Think of all the homeless shelters and soup kitchens and vouchers for day care so moms can get off of welfare.
The list goes on, but so does that damn double-dipping by PPF. Write to your Representative or Senator and let him or her know how you feel about this THEFT -- twice over by an already fat old and greedy pig of a special interest that's never known when to leave the trough of tax dollars that should've gone to help the truly needy.
WHEN IT COMES TO ABORTION, EVERYBODY GETS DIRTIED UP!

According to Planned Parenthood's latest annual report, the organization received more than $1 billion from revenues -- nearly one-third of that figure came from "government grants and contracts." In light of that report, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota) became outraged when she learned of Planned Parenthood's new branding effort in her Minnesota district. She says the new strategy is a move away from helping poor women with family planning, and instead involves targeting latte-drinking, affluent women across America. But Bachmann claims Planned Parenthood has always been about big business.
Oh, yes, that "Lens Crafters' reference. This is a beaut!
“When Planned Parenthood brings in over a billion dollars in revenues, pays no taxes, and sits at the end of the year fat and happy with $115 million in the bank and brazenly works to go after affluent women rather than helping out poor women, as their original mission statement said, I agree with the executive director of Illinois Planned Parenthood, who said 'Planned Parenthood wants to be the LensCrafters of family planning,'" said Bachmann. "In other words," she notes, "they want to be the big-box retailer."
Bachmann was one of several Republican lawmakers who denounced the abortion provider during a recent one-hour pro-life Special Order on the House floor called by Congressman Chris Smith (R-New Jersey). "We didn't have one Democrat come to the floor and call on Planned Parenthood to either live up to their non-profit status or renounce that status, be truthful with the American people, and start paying taxes and not be eligible for any more taxpayer subsidies," she argues. "As a matter of fact, in Houston, Planned Parenthood announced that they will be building a 75,000-square-foot building.
How could that be possible -- a 75,000-square-foot building?" Bachmann questions.
She states that, as a former tax lawyer, it has become clear to her that Planned Parenthood no longer fits the mold of a 501(c)3 non-profit and should be paying taxes. And Bachmann questions whether Planned Parenthood really uses public funds to help its efforts for "voter identification and community education" on family-planning issues.
