Flatulence Reigneth Supreme at Obama Coronation

August 27th 2008 17:24
By Steven Barrett

I mind the coronation part less than the flatulence that's going to symbolize this year's Democratic Party Coron ... Convention of the candidate that walks on water, can stop a racing foreign policy crisis with his smile and smooth talk and God knows whatever else.

Oh, another excuse me: Even though the Democrats has all of a sudden rediscovered God this year, their presumptive king to be crowned was dumb enough to refer to the Divine as his "higher pay grade." Did he mean "personal higher paygrade, " or just the generic "higher paygrade." At least he understood why Christ died on the Cross, or memorized the orthodox teachings of the past two thousand years sufficiently to successfully answer that softball question from Rick Warren.

Speech after speech ... and all of them saying the same damn-near plagiarized drivel as the next. I'd just caught up on Bob Casey, Jr.'s "speech." Hell, a kid in elementary school could've come up with a more original set of lines.

Thankfully, there's the Rev. John Petty, a Lutheran pastor from Aurora, CO with a much more refreshing take on this bellyfull of nonsense. He's still voting for Hillary and doesn't want a coronation. God Bless you Pastor!
Really Long Link
He knows how to separate the "kumbaya" from politics better than the current DNC "leadership" can understand what Jefferson meant by the so-called "wall" and all the other excuses they mounted during the past near-half-century to demonstrate their "rising sophistication" when it comes to religious issues.

In their efforts to demonstrate how vastly different they are from the GOP on religious and other hot-button moral issues, the dumber they look. If they think John McCain's awkward, they only need to look in the mirrors to find his very close twin separated at birth.

Outside of Sen. Clinton's very cleverly delivered and measured speech, it's all be flatulence and nothing but. And I'm praying Bubba pulls the carpet out from underneath this packaged princeling.

Kind of reminds me of the opening in "Inherit the Wind" -- the legendary play about the so-called Scopes "Monkey Trial" that occured in Tennessee. No sooner than the Charles Darrow-like character arrives in town to meet his client, he's greeted by the H.L. Mencken character who said "Welcome to Hell."

Hell, just welcome to Denver. What the hell's the difference? Maybe fewer sulferous odors -- in hell, and it is indeed a place, or places -- where we get our Obamas from, South Chicago, IL, (near the University of Chicago), Cambridge, & Northampton/Amherst, MA; Manhattan; Georgetown, DC; West Palm Beach, FL; Hollywood and Berkley, CA, and Seattle, WA. Plenty of flatulence coming from overrated college towns like these!

I heard Mike Huckabee say something morning that gave me a good laugh. He said that Obama having Biden as his VP was like going to Baskin Robbins and ordering vanilla! LOL

I wonder if Al Gore will be at the convention to complain about the additional flatulance causing more "glo-bull whatever" or whether he'll just add to it as usual? What do you think, Steven?

LOL LOL LOL Perhaps this is WHY they moved the Big O's hour of gasbagology to Mile High Stadium. So the whole country this side of the Rockies can see and take it all in. (God help the rest of US!) Think of it as altlernative energy storage; all that methane.

T. Boone Pickens, here you go, Big Tex! Man, you jes' get them ol windmills in place by tomorrow night for the Don Quixote session of the DNC and we can kiss all those A-rabs and Russkies off for goodskis.

Why, S.L., I'll even bet you'll be able to see this GANGREEN-in-the sky light show from your western side of the Rockies. After all, with Al Glo there, how could you miss it, even though some of Colorado's mountains reach nearly 15,000 feet high? It'll be THE Rocky Mountain Horror Show High of 'em all.

If only Leni Riefenstal was alive to capture this moment and Albert Speer to have those hundreds of (future) air-raid lights used for the Nuremberg Party Rallies on hand for the new DP fuhrer. Naahhhh, with all that methane, GANGREEN and "higher paygrade-knows-what-else" these bozos will produce, they won't have to use the Bronco's ligting system, mu ch less anything like the goodies Riefenstal and Speer relied on to highlight the wondrous glories of their architect of change.

Cant you just wait?

It's funny, Steven... I was looking at the sky last night and thought I was seeing the aurora borealis. Then I realized the lights were coming from the east, not the north! Golly whiz! All that gaseous green is really making an impression! LOL Maybe they should be called the "green party!"
