SENATOR BOB CASEY, JR. -- WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO STOP SELLING OUT? WHERE'S THE BOTTOM? (LINK)

Does Bob Casey, Jr. have the right to claim his father's name any more? I hate to ask this of any grown man, much less a sitting United States Senator from a prominently large state like Pennysylvania, but you have to wonder about a guy who tries to pass himself off as a "pro -life Democrat" and a supporter of his fellow -- and no less coldest dead-on pro-abortion presidential candidate in American political history -- the Big O.
Casey's dad -- one of the most popular pols and Governor of the Keystone State before he died -- was kept from speaking at the Democratic Convention in 1992 because of his prolife views, (see below) notwithstanding his stellar liberal credentials in other areas. However, since the hypocrites who constantly bay for the rights of this and that and who knows else special interest they can conjure up, couldn't allow this man who spent his entire public life supporting the best of the party's values when it came to serving the people who pay the very taxes that pay for all the wonderful programs the very same party has to fight like hell at times to save them from GOP scalpels.
Now look at Bob fils. He's being packaged as a "prolife Democrat" but in truth he's yet another paid mercenary for the abortion lobbies, especially National Abortion Rights Action League and Kay Michelman, who along with Frances Kissling make up the dynamic duo of Benedict Arnolds for "catholic" women within the Democratic Party's hiearchy. According to Bill Donohue of the Catholic League for Civil Rights,
But here's a couple of items that really aroused my ire after reading them in "Dems will never abort pro-choice mission" by columnist Kathryn Jean Lopez in today's Townhall.com: A few names literally jumped off the page when I saw them: Really Long Link
Democrats aren't helped at all by the likes of feminist Linda Hirshman, who has argued that Democrats should really embrace abortion as a moral good. If they listen to her they are crazy, but they should send her roses for making someone sound more out there then their candidate. Democrats are helped, too, by religious leaders, writers and pro-lifers who are cheap dates. The left-wing Rev. Jim Wallis aided and abetted the scam when he called the Dems' platform language "a real step forward."
What's happened to Wallis that's turning him into such a shill for the very gang that's out to do him and every cleric who opposes abortion in, no matter how perfect they'd score on all the other issues, save for "gay marriage" and other such novelties they can't defend from scripture? How Wallis can fob off abortion, well ... I'll best leave that to him and his weakened conscience. Potomac Fever's got the best of him. He was far more effective in Detroit where his best skills are needed now more than ever. His hat size grew too large.
Linda Hirshman's been one of my favorites since she deliberately trashed Tim Russert between his death and burial, no less. Linda, you wouldn't supposed Tim's devout Catholic beliefs had anything to do with your post-mortem bitch slap, would you?
Somebody'd better start checking the Kool Aid at the DNC and damn fast!.

If a Democrat voted with the National Rifle Association two out of every three times, no one in his right mind would call that person an advocate of gun control. Yet Bob Casey, Jr., who has a NARAL voting record of 65 percent (click here)—meaning that he votes with the radical pro-abortion group two out of every three times—is somehow considered pro-life. Casey can mouth the virtues of pro-life all he wants, but at the end of the day what matters is his voting record.
“Casey’s father, contrary to the latest spin, was not denied the right to speak at the 1992 convention because he didn’t endorse Bill Clinton. As Bob Casey said at the time, California Treasurer Kathleen Brown (sister of Jerry Brown), was allowed to speak even though she endorsed her brother over Clinton. The difference was that Brown was pro-abortion.
(emphasis mine, sb)
“The Democrats—with the help of their friends in the media—will now use the Pennsylvania pro-abortion senator to sell the message that they have gotten beyond their anti-Catholic reputation. That reputation, which was played out in 1992 by delegates who wore anti-papal buttons at the convention, still sticks. If they are serious about reaching out to Catholics and jettisoning their anti-Catholic baggage once and for all, they can allow a prominent Catholic to speak in Denver who is truly pro-life. That should be an easy choice to make given the small pool of eligible candidates.”

Doug Kmiec, who used to be dean of Catholic University's law school and an adviser to Mitt Romney, called it a "historic moment that does a lot for Democrats, Catholics and women." Hold on a second. It's an historic moment for Catholics and women that the party will announce that it "strongly an unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to choose a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay, and we oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right"?
